Elevated Urban Plaza Incorporating Landscape and Nature. At 72 feet above Mohakhali, the rooftop terrace of SKS Tower becomes a green envelope suspended over one of Dhaka's densest commercial corridors — noise buffer, heat sink, shadow play, and civic gathering space simultaneously.
The programme layers public and semi-private: a stage area for performances, viewing deck oriented toward the city, water-side seating, gallery seating, indoor seating, pantry and buffet facilities, and entrance deck. Each zone is softened by planted edges that reduce ambient noise and moderate the thermal load of the exposed terrace.
Design was developed with day and night render studies and an Enscape 3D walkthrough to communicate the atmospheric shift between a daytime civic plaza and an evening lantern at the skyline.
